Clarkdog
Brian Schnieder is the answer.
SoxAce
Brian Schnieder is the answer. I would love to get him. A lefty bat with improving average and has above average defense. He I don't mind.
JoshPR
I would love to get him. A lefty bat with improving average and has above average defense. He I don't mind. I saw Scheider 4 times this past week and he's a good catcher who throws well to the bases.Got some power not much of an average but hell i'll take it
AngelasDaddy0427
How about we give this kid Ben Davis a shot before we just overpay. He was a top prospect for a reason...
SuperSteve
You miss MO? Would you rather not have Freddy? That's what I thought. Kendall would be awesome.
witesoxfan
Give me Schneider or Kendall...hell, if Davis can hit .260, let him play. Our offense is good enough. We just need a serviceable guy who can hit a little and play some defense with a good arm while also calling a good game.
qwerty
Kendall is not coming here, i would much rather have zaun or schnieder for muc much less.
AngelasDaddy0427
I'd be happy if Davis could even hit .200 and I think he given consistant starts he could easily accomplish that... Burke just isn't good enough defensively to warrent all of this playing time. If I see him drop one more ball at the plate after a near perfect throw I think i'm going to scream
CWSGuy406
Kendall is not coming here, i would much rather have zaun or schnieder for muc much less. Why is Kendall not coming here....? How do you know this? Kendall would be a perfect fit for us, filling two needs; a top of the order hitter, and a very good defensive catcher. Get Pitt to take on some of the contract, and let's go for him. I think Kenny will make a move/has already made a move for Kendall. If not, as long as our catcher can hit a little over .225 or so and play solid defense, I'm happy.
Xero
www.whitesoxcentral.com and read the Kendall article, that is why we can get him
qwerty
Why is Kendall not coming here....? How do you know this? I know this because a catcher is about the third or fourth thing on are priority.
qwerty
www.whitesoxcentral.com and read the Kendall article, that is why we can get him I could care less what it says he will not come here because he is not what we need. Even if they take 5O% of his contract it will still be 7 million or so. 7 million dollars could be used much better next year than on a catcher that cannot call a game. CWSGuy406
I know this because a catcher is about the third or fourth thing on are priority. A catcher, maybe, but a leadoff hitter is one or two on our top priorities. Not to mention the defense he'll add. With the attendence increase, I think we can take on Kendall's contract - and have Pitt pay for a bit of it...

With the attendence increase, I think we can take on Kendall's contract - and have Pitt pay for a bit of it... He will go after a reliever, starter, and a left handed hitter. He will get 2 out of the three i feel. I would much rather get finley for basically nothing than kendall, but i guess that is just me. Why not just get zaun or schneider, they are upgrades over burke. Also will not cost much to give up.
Xero
I wouldn't mind Toby Hall either. Making 320 grand this year, cheap, and way better than Zaun and Schneider combined.

He would be nice, but i do not see the devils rays trading some making 320,000.
DBAHO
Pittsburgh isn't willing to pay half of Kendall's remaining salary of $34 million, so we'd hav to pay AT LEAST $17 million for the next 3 years, if we were to get him. Brian Schneider is the guy I want, he'll come far cheaper, and is better behind the plate, and I dare say he'd hit better playing at the Cell as well. YASNY
Qwerty, just because don't think getting Kendall is the best option, there's no reason to say "We are not getting kendall." like it is the definitive word straight from the front office. And, nothing personal, but I hate that avatar.
