But my main criticism still stands...Why doesn't Willie run?? Even Hawk and DJ were on him, again. They said Ozzie has talked with him repeatedly about stealing more...but nothing. I don't care at this point if he runs or not as long as he gives us performances like he did last night but I agree that he should be stealing more bases. In defense, Tampa does have a glut of GREAT outfielders in their Minor League system. With Crawford's star rising, they could get some pitching for him. As for where would we play him? CF. I love Aaron, but a 1-2 punch of Crawford and Harris would be tempting. But it won't happen, a Crawford move would happen in the offseason. You got it worng, it was Jerry Manuel who would bench him when he made a mistake. Ozzie doesn't care if he gets caught stealing, but not trying is what is getting him benched.
