Im suprised Hawkins hasnt plunked anyone just to get the hell out of here.

No, he rather complain about balls/strikes with the homeplate umpire.

During the commercial break, Hawkins was ejected, and may now be facing a suspension. The pressure is beginning to build in this clubhouse.

Poor cubbies, they are a headcase of a team.

This is the defonition of the wheels falling off a team...

Baker has absolutey no control of this team.

I don't know if anyone has noticed, but most Cub fans have left Wrigley. They are seriously tired of this s***. Us Sox fans are enjoying it.

What the heck happened?! :o

1 out.

What the heck happened?!  :o

He went nuts. Basically the whole team was holding him back from attacking the ump.

What the heck happened?!  :o

He got a bit physical with the umpires...

oops

 :fthecubs

Here comes Sammy!

Damn... a walk. Though a DP would be real nice.

I don't necessarily enjoy it... It's just a great story, though. The ultimate in pride, etc. It almost seems like the penultimate Greek Tragedy of baseball.

And I somehow hope my team can learn from these "Greek Gods" and avoid the problems they ran into.

Here comes Sammy!

And there he goes...back to the bench.

2 outs.

Threw a fit. Needed to be restrained by five Cub personnel.

When Letroy entered the dugout his teammates were literally holding him down.

Chip Caray is a dolt.

An inning after they trash the field, he praises Cub fans for being loyal through thick and thin.

And I don't think the Cards need to bean anybody. The Cubs have already gotten a message sent to them with these embarrassing two losses. No need to give them any fire with a bench clearing brawl and lose players to suspension in the process.

This is not the circumstance to put the tying run at the plate, Jason.

2 on, 2 outs.

1st and 2nd for the Cubs. This Cardinal closer sucks.

I'll let the Cards borrow "hey, hey, hey Good Bye!" for the afternoon. The best way to handle the problem was winning. Even better is to win big. Even better still is a come from behind victory.

:fthecubs

JESUS CHRIST, ISRINGHAUSEN. Throw.......strikes.

1st and 2nd for the Cubs. This Cardinal closer sucks.

He's sucked against the Cubs everytime I've seen him pitch...
