I don't know why anyone would predict Illinois higher than Northwestern, considering Illinois didn't beat a I-A team last year, and NU went to a bowl game.

I want to see Illinois and NU both do well, but NU is definatley going to be better

Exactly. They are just Illinois fans, nothing wrong with that. People just need to be reasonable.

Big Ten

1. Illinois

1. Ohio Sate

2. Michigan

3. Iowa

4. Purdue

5. Wisconsin

6. Minnesota

7. Michigan State

8. Northwestern

9. Pennslyvania State

10. Illinois

11. Indiana

i have a feeling that Iowa's not gonna do as well as people think... just a hunch but i have a feeling QB is gonna be a pretty weak link on the team this year, we're not gonna have a Banks or Chandler step up this year... Anyone whos predicting a 2nd place finish for them is smokin something.

btw, danman, i'm just curious but what made you an NU fan?

My dad went there. I started following them in the 95 Rose Bowl year. I went to a few games with my dad. Notre Dame hasn't scheduled the 'Cats since they stunned 'em in the opener, lol! :headbang

Prediction: Michigan beats two teams from Ohio this year! First game of the year, and last. ;)

1. Michigan

2. Iowa

3. Ohio St.

4. Minnesota

5. Wisconsin

6. Purdue

7. Michigan St.

8. Penn St.

9. Northwestern

10. Illinois

11. Indiana

That's my Big Ten picks.

It's a week into the season, but I hate preseason predictions in college sports because there are so many unknowns. I saw some Big Ten teams play and was impressed or not.

1. Michigan (ugh...)

2. Ohio St.

3. Iowa

4. Purdue

5. Wisconsin

6. Minnesota

7. Northwestern

8. Penn St.

9. Mich. St.

10. Indiana

11. Illinois

A big drop off after the first 2 and top 7. This is a weak year for the Big Ten. Also, the last 3 are interchangable. Illinois hasn't been a I-A team in a long time and Indiana always sucks, but Michigan State lost to Rutgers....

Throwing in a Wild Card

Minnesota

Iowa

Ohio State

Michigan

Wisconsin

Purdue

Northwestern

Penn State

Michigan State

Illinois

Indiana

Haha, 10th in the Big Ten right? :lolhitting

Ahh, sometimes you guys really make me laugh. Anyway, props to Zoom to picking the top 3 in the Big Ten correctly.

Dead on there buddy!

USC is way too hyped up.  They won't make it to the title game.

Nice job, jackass!

Although I was right about Northwestern in a way, I figured they had to be better than people were giving them credit for.

Damn, my picks were pretty good, I was close outside of the LSU pick, and those Big Ten picks were monsters. Virginia might still bail me out if the beat Va Tech, and WV is tied for first. I'm winning Soxtalk College Football Pick'em, whatever that's worth. I'm basically in first because everyone else is too lazy to make their picks every week.
