Maybe this will get the guy going finally.

If I am right, that is the longest HR EVER at new Comiskey Park correct?  Frank had the old record at 495, right?

That sounds right. That was the number I was thinking too. Wish I had somewhere to check it.

Tie Game. This may be similar to those games in June. I just have a feeling.

I think you're right about Farthest by a WS player, though

according to a quiz @ WSI

Dan Pasqua hit a 484 ft. HR in 91 -- that is what they list.... Though I know Eric Chavez was measured at over 500 ft.

I googled too, lol. If anyone hearing the broadcast can shed some light on this, that would be cool :)

Right over all the fans who spend the game riding his ass.

You are aware of the fact that during the August Meltdown Sox lose a bunch of 1-2 run games, and that Borchard's 350 OPS heavily contributed to quite a few of them, effectively all but ending the season?

It'll take a loooooot of 500-foot bombs for Borchard to redeem himself in the eyes of Sox fans. And rightfully so.

They haven't said anything... Though I'm pretty sure that I read the 495 thing while at a game this season... And I'm positive that Chavez had the longest of any player at USCF. I don't think JB's passed it.

I thought they put Chavez's shot at somewhere between Pasqua and Thomas's shot, but I could be wrong. I could have swore that Franks was the longest.

Radio reported 504, previous longest was Frank at 495. Went to the post office and missed it, I'm sure it will be on ESPN multiple times.

I just hope that Out Man's massive blast is more than just a happy accident, and maybe he can actually start to consistently look like he belongs.

Whoops....Out Man goes down looking at Strike 3.

"Straight ball, I hit very far.....Curveball, bats are scared...."

Awful display of half-wit baseball.

What a f***ed-up play.

Lucky that the Sox got the benefit of the last f***up.

Sox back within 6-5. One out runners on first and second for the master of the 3 run HR, hint, hint.

Abreu gets him EASILY at home, and then the sacrifice fly to CF becomes the 3rd out instead.

Ugly, ugly inning.

C'MON Timo...

Small ball eh??

Where the corners all that far back?

they we're THAT far back. but far enough....

Where was that when I wanted it back in April/May?

Two good defensive plays in the inning...well the Cormier catch was luck...but the Sox still scored 4. Where has this timely hitting been?

Marte is in. Lets hope the pen can hold this one

Oh s***. Walk Abreu to get Thome up as the go ahead run?

This has disaster written all over it.

Damn I want to see Borch's homer.

Whew, way to be clutch Damaso.

Interesting to note...

Even with Frank, Maggs, Pauly, and Carlos all out of the line up, and 4 guys in the .240s or under in the line up, every starter has a hit.

Hey guys can I get an update score?

CBSsportsline is f***in up and I am in the school library, I got class here soon and I wanna get a score before I go...
