August 31, 200421 yr Baj has GOT to be up. Why? To see if he can help next year. It will give him a little experience before next year too. Aside from that, his numbers really are worthy of a call.

August 31, 200421 yr Bring Baj up, what could it hurt. The Knights aren't in a playoff hunt, are they? Goddamn, if Baj comes up here and just mows through hitters.. that would be great for next year. Make the offseason a little bit nicer too.

We already have enough AAA guys who might come up (Diaz, Munoz, Stewart, Sanders, Baj, Santiago). Let Bull show himself in ST and start next year in AAA. Then, if he does well in AAA like he has in AA this year, then we can start thinking of calling up. I really hope he does get called up one day, but i think its a little early right now considering

August 31, 200421 yr I would have liked to see more K's at AAA, but you can't argue with the results. Selfishly, I'd like to see him, just because I've never seen him before. He's honestly the only player I'd be excited to see in a call-up role. That being said, I'm pretty sure he's headed to the AFL, which may or may not effect his chances of being called up. MJ getting released is a good sign for Baj, though, IMO.

August 31, 200421 yr Author Because some people might not think he's ready. Wunsch is a long ways from ever being back in a White Sox uni from what I've heard. I want to see Baj up here. However, if Maggs doesnt go to the 60 day DL, would Campos or Nelson, etc. get the spot?

August 31, 200421 yr Not ready? And Sweetcheeks Adkins is? If his groin injury is so severe, he shouldn't be pitching at all. If it's not, then get him up here when rosters expand. Straight-forward stuff. When it comes to Kelly Wunsch, he could phone it in from Charlotte and still manage to dramatically improve upon the ever-stellar 930 OPS-against (vs. LH) compiled by the Politte-Jackson-Cotts-Adkins brigade. But hey, lets wear out Marte's arm some more instead...

Marte's actually been pretty lights out in the past week, probably the best I've seen him all season. But there's no doubt if we want to see Marte back in his 2002 - 2003 form, we need to sign a Mota like set-up man to help share the load with him.
