September 20, 200421 yr While Mike Brown is one of my favorite players on the Bears, and I agree that he will be missed... everyone needs to take a moment to count to ten. Bobby Grey will be a fine replacement for Brown. I consider the Safety position one of the easiest (if not the easiest position) to fill in at in the NFL. Bobby Grey has shown he has a nose for the ball, and he can hit with the best of them. The one area Grey will have to turn it up is against the run. Get well soon Mike Brown... Chicago Bears ... Bear Down!

September 20, 200421 yr I think bobby grey can step up and play well, sure he's no brown, but at least he's another crayon color in the bears crayon defensive back field
September 20, 200421 yr brown is my favorite player on the bears but im actually kind of interested in watching Bobby Grey from what i saw last year i really took a liking to him and even though mike green has 2 int so far i dont care much about him so hopefully next year our starting safeties will be grey and brown.... and yes grey does hit every bit as hard as brown
September 20, 200421 yr Damn I was thinking that he had heatcramps again when he went down, until he started squirming around and brought out the cart to take him off of the field. To Mike Brown, heal up good man!
September 20, 200421 yr Question.. Was this a tear, or a rupture. Why I ask is because those are two big differences.
September 20, 200421 yr Eeee, I was afraid of that. If it was a complete rupture then it would be difficult for him to come back like nothing happened. But if it is a partial rupture/tear, I wouldn't be suprised to see him back 100%.
