September 22, 200421 yr Wilson Valdez had 2 walks today. He only had 1 BB in 9 games previously for the White Sox, and only 11 BB's in 62 games for Charlotte. Neal Cotts in his last 3 appearances of 4.1 innings of work has had 5 ER's but 10 K's as well. He has 57 all season.
September 22, 200421 yr How about Juan Uribe hitting his 20TH home run. No one would've predicted that.
September 22, 200421 yr How about Juan Uribe hitting his 20TH home run. No one would've predicted that. I had no clue that he had the tendency to cool off in the later part of the season. I figured we struck gold with this guy, and that he was going to continue to play the way he started the season. I figured he'd have 20+ at the least. I was close to being wrong for a while....
September 22, 200421 yr How about Borchard getting a hit. Talk about weird.. He is almost into the .160's.
September 22, 200421 yr Gload reached base 4 times today while hitting in the #3 spot. He failed to score... Timo Perez is GOD.
September 22, 200421 yr Cheat's favorite player by far. In fairness Konerko was mostly to blame, but I never miss an opportunity.
September 22, 200421 yr Author In fairness Konerko was mostly to blame, but I never miss an opportunity. Who would have thought we'd even hav 2 chances tonight with the bases loaded. Konerko swung on the 1st pitch, Uribe on the 5th and homered. Patience peeps.

September 22, 200421 yr Yeah, Uribe has more homers than Crede, go figure....... Because crede's swing is so very slow and long.
September 22, 200421 yr Yeah, Uribe has more homers than Crede, go figure....... So important you had to tell us twice.
September 22, 200421 yr So important you had to tell us twice. Excuse me, my computer froze. I'm going to delete it.
September 22, 200421 yr Here's a weird f***ing stat... MLB tries to jump on the Sabrmetrics bandwagon, unsucessfully, with the new "stat" O-Zone factor http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/mlb/news/mlb...s_mlb&fext=.jsp I'm in the process of completely debunking the value of this stat for my blog.... There is something interesting there if you can figure it out trough all of the alphabet soup they have going on in there. The White Sox are the best in baseball at getting runners in from scoring position. They are also the worst in baseball at preventing runners who reach scoring position from scoring.
September 22, 200421 yr Here's a weird f***ing stat... MLB tries to jump on the Sabrmetrics bandwagon, unsucessfully, with the new "stat" O-Zone factor we're last in the AL in # of runners that ever get to scoring position. that's pathetic.
September 22, 200421 yr we're last in the AL in # of runners that ever get to scoring position. that's pathetic. That's a direct reflection of our piss poor OBP.
