G-mail question

Featured Replies

Does anyone here still have any guest passes for G-mail? I am looking for 2 if possible.

Thanks

Same with me, I want to really try this out.

I sound like a confused old man here, but what is the deal with G-Mail? (Yeah that ryhmed, wanna fight about it?) Why is it better than other services?

You get a gigabyte of storage space online. Its supposed to be awesome.

Here's a question? is it really slow sometimes for other people too?

It can be during the day. Sometimes the server backs up, and some junkmail filters kick it out. Those are the only two downsides I have seen.

I've got some Invites left too if anyone still needs one. It will be slow during peek times and the slow downs actually seem to be few and far between for me.

I have all 6 of my invites left.

Just PM me if you need me to email one to you.

I think everyone should have at least three email addys. Keep your regular POP server type with a full service email program. Use another web based service for mailing lists, traveling, etc. and find another to toss junk mail towards like those annoying site requests, etc.

My yahoo account get almost 500 junk mails a day. I don't even check it daily anymore. it's comical.

agreed. i have my dsl isp account-regular use. 4 yahoo accounts-i use 1 for junk mail, the rest i only have because yahoo only allows you to play in 4 fantasy leagues per sport per account  . my UIS student account--hardly use, get usually around 10 emails a week concerning every possible thing that is going on on campus (and not because i want them either or that for the most part i even care  ). my gmail account--dont use. 3 accounts from other message boards - don't use 2 from one site (even though one is in case people have problems or questions since im an admin there. hope no one has probs... ) and i use one from the other mb to get league email from one of my yahoo accounts. and countless other accounts at places i've forgotten (such as hotmail)...

i think i'm dizzy now...

Firefox and Gmail make a nice combo. They have a extensin that adds a gmail notifier when you have mail.

I also added the google search bar, a couple themes, and a couple other extensions last night.
