September 26, 200421 yr Wow Jonathan Quinn is awesome...... Game over, but now lets hope Rex is OK!!!
September 26, 200421 yr And that is exactly why the Bears should not have gone into the season with 3 QBs with a grand total of 7 NFL starts between them.
September 26, 200421 yr FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKKKKKKK I HOPE THOSE CHEAP MOTHER f***ING VIQUEENS. f*** THEM f*** THOSE COCKY BASTARD REFFS
September 26, 200421 yr Author Offensive Player: T Jones Defensive Player: O Gun MVP: O Gun Goat: Quinn Play of the game: Grossmans TD
September 26, 200421 yr Author Goat: RW McQuarters Wait, I must be stupid since he was facing Moss and It was in a dome and was trying to stop him...
September 26, 200421 yr Goat: RW McQuarters Wait, I must be stupid since he was facing Moss and It was in a dome and was trying to stop him... Nope that is a much better pick. Even with double coverage help, McQuarters was Moss's b****.
September 26, 200421 yr Need a kicker and refs to there job how the hell is offsides not called on 2PT conv and to say Minn tipped ball what the hell are people looking at.
September 26, 200421 yr Quinn blows! Krenzel better start next week. I hate Quinn. Never liked em and sure as hell don't like em now! I just got home - and what in the flying f*** are you talking about, MSF? You say we sucked today - yet we played without arguably our three best defensive players, in a dome in a very tough place to play, against a very good team - a team that might contend with the Eagles to be the best in the NFC. Holy s***, you say you don't like Quinn - he's a friggin' backup QB - what the f*** do you expect? If you expected the Bears to win this game - then I dunno, you're just a f***ing nut. To boot, your starting QB gets knocked out - and you expect the backup to step right in and drive 80+ yards for a TD. I'm sorry, but you're dead wrong on just about every point you've made in this thread...

I know we would lose before, but I get pissed off even when I know that my teams would lose. It just is my attitude
September 26, 200421 yr Ugh, now that my rant is over, I want to talk about the game today. Well, RW is what he is - a number three cornerback. I expected domination out of Culpepper/Moss; hell, when McQuarters and McMillon are your starting cornerbacks - that's bad news. I'm surprised that our defense was able to keep them under 30. Hell, I'm thrilled at how our defense played, considering the circumstances. Offensively - there were some bumps, but I'm really starting to fall in love with this offense. We don't have a go-to guy, but instead, six-ten players will touch the ball each game - people like Jones, Thomas, Johnson, Lyman, Clark, Wade, Terrell, Gage, Berrian. The reverse action on that I-Formation play is awesome, because every play, it take one guy out - because he is always responsible for containment of the reverse. It's awesome, I really love it. Overall today, I'm proud of our guys. They battled till the last play, and in the end, we were just a bit undermanned. Hell - if you would have told me that we'd play without Tillman, Urlacher, Brown - and Grossman at the end - and only lose by seven, I'd have been really surprised. I know - it's a loss in the end, but like I've been saying, playoffs aren't the ultimate goal, at least this year - developement is. Next year, IMHO (I know this might sound a little goofy) will be our playoff push year. Everyone will have had their year in the system, Lovie will have his guys, and we should be ready to bring back the Chicago dominance... P.S. Any news on Grossman? How bad is the injury?
September 26, 200421 yr Atleast we ain't in last place! The Packers are!!! i dont know if its just me but you sig doesnt show up

September 27, 200421 yr P.S. Any news on Grossman? How bad is the injury? :banghead According to today's Trib- A month or maybe longer. Once again, how stupid do you have to be to break camp with 3 QBs with 7 total NFL starts between them. :banghead #1 draft pick here we come.
September 27, 200421 yr Angelo's job should be OVER! How could the Bears have let him get away with saying that they did not need a veteran backup QB for Rex? STUPID!!!! :banghead
