You said he's a RF, I said he's played CF. Who's wrong?

Let me spell it out very slowly for you ...

You said this: "I said Jones has played CF, you said he never had."

I said: "Go back and look what I said. I NEVER said he'd never played CF."

Very slowly now ... I n-e-v-e-r said Jacque Jones hadn't played CF before.

I said he is a RF because that's what he's been playing in Minnesota.

Again ... slowly ... I n-e-v-e-r said he hadn't played CF.

Maggs Ordonez has played CF too. Is he a CF? Or do fans, and teams, consider him a RF?

I think what you said was Left Field

I will be more optimistic after the winter meetings and the Sox make a few moves. Right now the Sox have some key guys to build around but need more obviously.

Couldn't agree with ya more. But knowing the sox are major move will be trading for Shawn Chacon or Signing Dave Roberts or SOmething. Then we will hear the tight budget bulls*** again :bang

Mr. Jones has played some Center Field

Ugh... :rolly

Jim, at least some of us understand what you're trying to say.

Just because a guy has played CF before doesn't mean he's a CFer. Like Jim said, Maggs had played CF before, does that make him a CFer?

Mercy, it's like bangin your head against a friggin' wall.

Anyways, back to the main point. Addison, I agree with your list, and I'd also like to add Buehrle to that list. He's awesome, and had it not been for pitching at the b**** of a field called The Cell, he'd be a Cy Young candidate - easy. Buehrle really impressed me this year.

I believe Aaron is moving. And I believe they will go after an ace.

I hope they take Willie out back and shoot him .. oops..

I don't know about the SS spot... let me get back to you on that one...

(dialing phone.. 1-900-HearAnyRumorsYet  )

I'd appreciate a clarification here. Aaron is moving? As in to RF or to another team?

No doubt to RF, KW would be crazy to deal Rowand after the season he had, and the salary he will be making next season, unless he's locked up into a long - term deal.

That was my thinking, but I was wondering if Steff had some info that the rest of us didn't have.

It'll be interesting to see what type of long term deal A-Row will get if he is indeed locked up long - term. Could be a Carlos Lee type of deal, perhaps a bit cheaper. A - Row would probably use that type of contract, and Mark Kotsay's as his negotiation.

No doubt the deal will be lesser than carlos's he has not proven him self as much yet.
