chisox05
It was a nice game and all but he is still not of his slump. Yes, i am pleased with this day, but he need 3-4 games of BRIAN ANDERSON type of play until he OFFICIALLY breaks out of his slump. I honestly believe that if he goes on fire until the end of arizona leauge and the other one, pending our transactions, he will have a shot at making the team and if he makes the team, he would definetely start. YASNY
How a player performs in the AFL or winter ball carries no credence with me. They are down there to work on weaknesses or other aspects of their game. I'll wait till ST to judge a player's performance and decide whether or not he should be on the team or someone we can look for down the road. It's funny if you use that with Shingo, if he wasn't a name player, he wouldn't have made the team based on his performance out of spring training. Shingo did have a track record and a guarenteed contract. That makes a difference.
Capn12
Whatever it takes for me to NOT see Joe Borchard in the '05 White Sox lineup, I'm all for. And I'll admit, I'm WAY out of touch with whats going on in Soxland, but its great to be back!!
Old Socks
I hope Anderson makes it to ST without being traded.

Its nice to see you believe in saving the E-enviornment, because you have been recycling the same post for about 6 months now...
