Any info on Danny Wright?

What Jas said, He was supposed to have two separate sugeries (elbow and shoulder) and he opted not to have one (I forget which) -- Original prognosis had him back with the club in ST '06, I think he's shooting for an earlier date.

I'd prefer it if Danny never pitched for the White Sox organization ever again. He sucks.

I disagree, a healthy Danny Wright is potentially a very very good reliever. Plus Wright is probably one of the best character guys the Sox have. He has an AWESOME attitude.

You'd pitch like s*** too if you needed both Tommy John and shoulder surgery.

Why would he not get both surgeries? If you need both, why would you put it off?

That seems a bit selfish to me, personally. Maybe that's just me though.

IIRC, he had the TJ surgery and is hoping that his shoulder will heal during the interm.

It will be interesting to see how he heals and rehabs. With his attitude he has an excellent chance to rebound.

I'd pitch like s*** either way. Jerk.

I just hope he gets some of his velocity back but I still think he can be the closer for us in 06'

Didn't like being shown up so you had to resort to calling names?

Take it easy. Mike knows I was messing with him.

I guess I should have used green.

misunderstanding, no harm, no foul. :cheers

I still have not given up on DW. He was decent in '02 then pitched while hurt in '03 and '04. If he can get healthy, he may have a future. I'd give him a shot in ST of '06 since we've been paying for all his rehab and medical stuff anyway.

Get real, YASNY. You know damn well that DW's gonna fire his agent, secretly have that elbow surgery in Austria, and showcase his talent for other teams next December. :P

I think that wasn't his point...I really think what he means is he sucked in the year and previous years.

Arm and elbow problems don't happen over night. With the scope of the damage that exsisted in Dannys arm, and the history of injuries recently, this isn't something that JUST happened in 2004. Think about it.

As far as updates, last I heard, there was a 16 inch womens softball league scouting him. They need someone who can get it over the plate by tossing it underhand! Heck......he'll still probably walk a truckload.
