Bruce Webers mom is in surgery with a torn aorta.

Thoughts and prayers go out to Mrs. Weber, and Bruce.

That is bad news. I truly hope she'll pull through.

(Only meant towards him and not other IU fans)

IU=He Gawn?

was that supposed to be a burn of some kind?

No he was actually saying that IU isn't gonna make the tourney...

THis game would be fine if right after they would go to the Big Ten tourney since there is 2 hours till the next game.

A good Big Ten game going on with Michigan State and Iowa. If anyone else can get it, you should really watch it.

Oh my god, Webers mom died.

NO NO NO!

It's things like this that makes baseketball seem so irrelevant.

Man thats just horrible, Weber has my prayers now, I hope he has the strength to continue this year.

wow, just wow.

Prayers go out to bruce and his family, their gonna need it.

He probably never got to see her again.

She was taken to the hospital before the game and he didn't find out till after the game when she was in surgery.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODBYE MICHIGAN STATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great win for Iowa, but RIP Mrs. Weber.

Weber will coach tommorrow.

Very suprising, IMO being with family is more important.

I had a feeling he'd coach to be honest, though usually you'd think he'd stay away. Hopefully he is feeling a bit better tomorrow.

it's the old...

My (blank) would tell me to coach/play comment...

But it is good to see him move on, btw Bruce did get to see his mom...so he might have said goodbye.

Do you think Wake still deserves a number 1 seed?

Do you think Wake still deserves a number 1 seed?

Yes...they lost the game without one of there best players, if not there best player. Bottom line is Kansas doesn't deserve a 1 seed so Wake definately does. I guess Duke could grab Wake's 1 seed but I don't see it happening.

UNC and Illini are locks and I kind of think Wake is as well.

I think Wake still does deserve one, they were playing without Paul and they were facing the Pack who wiht the win are in the NCAA now.

Also things would have got veryintresting with a Carolina loss but things weren't meant to be, they loked terrible out there like they didn't even belong with Clemson, if they play like that vs the Illini or hell any good team they will be bounced easy, should be interesting tomorrow to see how they will rebound they should nicely.

If two out of Duke, Kentucky, Arizona and Louisville win their conference tourneys, I doubt WF gets that number 1 seed. That's not even considering the Big 12.

I'm glad Wake got beat because they were without CP, that was sweet justice
