November 24, 200421 yr i really didn't expect to have it snow today...I heard it was supposed to be sleet...then possible snow flurries, but damn....the snow hasn't stopped since early this morning. Everyone outside is driving 5mph cuz there are no plows out. Peoria already has 4 inches...and expected to get 8-10 inches.
November 24, 200421 yr Snow plows appear overmatched in the south suburbs. Not only was this severity of this storm unexpected, but these snowflakes are HUGE. Took me nearly 50 minutes to drive from 111th Metra Station to 127th Harlem. Feel sorry for anyone stuck on the expressways.
