Gene Honda Civic
I can't believe he was able to talk with Hendry's dick in his mouth.

Wise Master Buehrle
In my opinion, there is NO way he ends up with the Cubs. They have to move Sosa first, and it's seeming more and more unlikely that will happen.
C_LEE45
Ya i think the Yankees will get him.

Gene Honda Civic
Angels. We have to make a play for davanon then -- He'd be wasting away behind Vlad, Anderson, Beltran
Chisoxfn
I think Anaheim will sit slow and let the other teams get in and make offers and then try and snatch him cause I think thast where he wants to play. I also think Anaheim will sign Carl Pavano.

He's the one high walk guy the Angels have and would be a great fit considering he can play any outfield position. I bet the Angels would think about a Cotts/Davannon swap. Sox maybe giving up a little something else.

AngelasDaddy0427
No way in hell Beltran goes to Baltimore if he wants to win a World Series title ever. Until they can find a decent rotation they will continue to be behind the Red Sox and Yankees.

Now they have the cash to spend.
AngelasDaddy0427
Any cash they have to spend should be spent on pitching...
SoxFan562004
I think with all the Giambi s*** the Yankees are going to have to make a huge positive splash, they've cooled off on RJ (for now, I still feel he will end up there though), so I think they're going to push hard for Beltran

Punch and Judy Garland
I predicted that the Stros would resign Beltran BUT if the Yankees legitimately feel that they will be able to void the last $82 million on Gimabi's deal, then I expect a moster contract handed down by the Yanks. The first year might be lower due to the Giambi fiasco but I bet they'd spend that money. Were it not for the Giambi predicament, I feel he would have stayed in Houston. USAF_11F4H
One would think he would want to stay in the NL and face the Braves and Cardinals 20+ times..
whitesox91403
Beltran goes to The Yankees. Houston has too many question marks right now, with Clemens unsure and Berkman hurt.

Once the MLBPA gets a hold of this voided contract thing, they will litigate it to death. I don't think the Yankees will be guaranteed to have that money back in time to sign Beltran. Punch and Judy Garland
Your right, that's why I feel that they would backload it. I think their legal expert will have a better handle on their chances in the coming months, and I think Beltran will be a free agent on February 1st no matter what.
