March 10, 200521 yr QUOTE(AnthraxFan93 @ Mar 10, 2005 -> 09:58 AM) What is your attendance like? As much as I want to keep the current roster, I can't afford them. Does anyone know how long you can go before you are forced to retire because you are out of money? 3 years. Trade the current Sox for nothing but prospects and pick up a guy in FA named James Allen I believe(it says J. Allen) and he's an OF. Develop him and then convert him to a 2B. He turns into a golden glover and silver slug hitter.
March 10, 200521 yr 3 years. Trade the current Sox for nothing but prospects and pick up a guy in FA named James Allen I believe(it says J. Allen) and he's an OF. Develop him and then convert him to a 2B. He turns into a golden glover and silver slug hitter. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I did, I have one person on my team making over 1mil and that is Rowand. I also have about 15-20 Top 100 Prospects.. Still learning the game with the new lineup and staff.. I am 12-5 I think, playing on Pro.
March 10, 200521 yr basicly you are most likely going to lose some money at the end unless you go to the playoffs where you can make like over a million a game.
March 10, 200521 yr basicly you are most likely going to lose some money at the end unless you go to the playoffs where you can make like over a million a game. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm actually making money in April with my currect roster, so far my stadium has one of every vendor and 3 stores.
March 10, 200521 yr I made $850,000 in a game versus the Indians. The game impact was 8/10 because I was in first and the Indians were in second. I raised my ticket prices to about $70, $60, and $50. It worked out great. About 13,000 was my attendance, 1,000 over my seasons average. The other 2 games of the series i made 800k and 750k. Edit: This wasn't a playoff game. Just a regular June series. March 11, 200521 yr Please excuse my laziness, but I don't wanna look through 55 pages to find this, but..... Has anyone figured out pretty fair ratings to give Iguchi when you create him?
March 11, 200521 yr I'm fed up with playing on All-Star. The sliders don't work. Bottom of the 12th, 2 out, tied 1-1. Royals vs Sox. Hermanson pitching to soome garbage ass, no name Royal infielder. Fastball down and in, his cold zone, WACK!, a 32957632457 foot HR and I lsoe the game, 2-1. f*** that bulls***. I'm playing on Pro.
March 11, 200521 yr Haha, just because it's in his cold zone doesn't mean it's unhittable. Pro is so boring.

March 11, 200521 yr Well I got the game the other day and have been playing on All-Star with all preset levels. Its been some what frustrating getting better, but that is my own fault because I swing at every pitch instead of working the counts. But sue me the last time I legitimately played a baseball game was Baseball Stars so Ill need some time. The game is good, just really slow and very awkward in the trading, off-season, and pretty much every menu. Just gonna have to grind out some more batting practice, and that damn pitching game is annoyingly hard. SB
March 11, 200521 yr i play on All Star and while i can pitch lights out i cant hit worth a damn.... But in the end pitching wins games and im like 16-8 so far. Crawford my only .300 hitter lol, most are either 250ish or lower. Lineup: LF:Carl Crawford CF:Vernon Wells 1B:Mark Teixiera RF:Miguel Cabrera C:Joe Mauer 3B:Victor Martinez 2B:David Wright(he actually has done better fielding at 2nd than 3rd) SS:BJ Upton P:..... Starting Rotation: Peavy .44 era Perez .40 era Greinkie 2.31 era Hernandez(guy on royals) 3.11 era Edwin Jackson 4.25 era

March 11, 200521 yr So far I'm like 0 and about 15 I'd say. It seems like taking a two-step is just asking for it with most guys. I think it should be possible to pick off CPU runners because they take two-step leads all the time.
