They should start with the upper deck, since nobody sits up there anyways. Empty green seats will look better than empty blue.

I'd agree, they really are finding ways to make the place prettier that are only enhancing the park.

There were things about the Cell that weren't the best when it was first made - but the one thing I loved is that its designed for optimum game watching experience. I've gotten a lot of craptacular seats, but every single one had a great view of the park. I can't say the same for the Juicebox, the Shrine, Shea or Philly's new place.

And sadly, the park is still not going to get a fair shake from writers who insist on calling it sterile, the Ball Mall, etc. :fyou

Screw 'em, the place has become just about the best and most inviting places to see a game in MLB.  Their attendence in not needed.

I have been to about a dozen parks, give or take one, and the renovations at Comiskey have made it one, if not the best stadiums I have been to. I love the place now.

Are they replacing the current seats or painting them with Krylon paint?? ;)

I don't know why, but that had me laughing... :lolhitting

I couldn't wait for the article to come up, it was taking too long.

Why exactly does it need to be done in phases? Why not wait and do it all at once next off season?

Even better, try to sell them at the garage sale, have thousands of Sox fans line up, only to find out that only like 15 seats are for sale.

Remember that?

What's the timetable on the new "Fundamentals" area in LF? I thought it was this offseason, but I thought they would have had to start construction on that? Is it also set for 2006?

That is exactly what I was thinking of

It wasn't quite like that... actually.. it was nothing like that.

:headbang I don't give a damn if it sells tickets, it looks sooo much better.

Krylon ™ paint????

What do you think, JR is the freakin King of England?

Next thing you know, you're gonna expect like a higher payroll or something. :lolhitting

Anyone find the sweet irony of the Sox switching seats to our color for sarcasm and kidding?

I was thinking about that; should we change the sarcasm to blue now?

Yeah, you're right, it wasn't even the garage sale, it was a day designated just for the sale of those seats. ;)

The seats look great and I also like the idea of changing the Sox logo for each row. :headbang

NO, we can't do that ...

quickman will be TOTALLY confused. We just got him understanding the whole green thing.

Not to mention what it would do to Tex. He probably has a green text shortcut right on his keyboard. And as old as he is... the damage could be irreversible.

I have the shortcut to black, default is green . . .

If the Sox sold enough tickets, the color of the seats wouldn't matter cuz there would be asses in them.

FUNdamentals is set to be completed by 0pening day this year, along with the rest of the Phase V improvements. Whether they are on schedule or not is another matter, but I've not heard any indications otherwise.

Ok...so people get out to the park? ;) :headbang
