luckily we arent counting on hermanson to be a stud closer

Actually, Hermansons goatee is kinda cool. Koch basically had a goat.

:banghead

UGH....that's a "nu-metal" goatee.....

I don't think it's bad karma, but it's certainly bad fashion sense! :D

I have a goatee and it sux to keep it in shape. I can't even imagine what his ritual must be.

It looks like something a kid would draw on a teacher's picture. During the Koch Nightmare, every time he blew a save, I'd see that hideous goatee and want to rip it off his face.

there goes our pen!

I think Hermanson has been spending more time on his sideburns than his goatee. I have a feeling he will pitch much better than Rocky Biddle. :D

nu-metal is so not nu anymore.

Seriously, shave that bad boy.

Four times i have said it i can pull up every time i have if you like. Also i have said every time for you to look it up. But that may be too hard for you. Because if you did you would not be able to complain about him.

1995 ERA 6.82 in the pen

1996 ERA 8.56 in the pen

2002. ERA of 7.77 While coming out of the pen playing in Boston

2003 ERA of 5.46 While coming out of the Pen in St Louis

This makes me feel better :puke

Nice to take those stats when he first came into the league and later on when it is just a sample size. Last year you should look at.

You can't just compare one guys stats during a half of a season when he got thrown into the pen.. I mean that is just stupid right to judge a person on 1/2 season???

Since Hermanson became a reliever: 27 IP, 22 H, 11 BB. 28K's, 4.33 ERA (if you don't count that meltdown on the last day of the season it would've been around 3.00,) a WHIP of 1.22.

He only had 4 bad outings.

I knew someone would have to do it for anthrax. Thank you.

reference to billy koch must ignore

All I had to do is go back to the original thread about us signing him. Here is Anthrax's first post in that thread:

OKAy p/u I think.. You can never have to many dependable arms in the pen.

but now it seems that he hates the signing, and probably hates Luis Vizcaino. But hey! I thought you can never have to (sp :rolly ) many dependable arms in the pen.

I said it was an OK signing.. but only looked at his numebrs from the past year.. now looking at the numbers as a whole..

:puke

Its funny, if its a guy you like..we don't overpay for him and only look at 1/2 of his numbers..

HMM

The guys yet another specialist.

VS. LEFT: .285 / .850 VS. RIGHT: .242 / .650 HOME: .272 / .720 AWAY: .254 / .766

Strong against RH, weak against LH.

vs LH: 239AB, 285BA, 352O, 498S, 33RBI

vs RH: 265AB, 242BA, 291O, 358S, 29RBI

The CWS have a nice combination of specialists which is why I think they'll go with 12 arms this year.
