Whats going on did anybody hear,sox offered 2 days ago what the heck.

 

 

 

Just sign the contract AJ!!!!!!!

Nothing yet, I'm guessing nothing will happen to Wednesday or so, maybe Tuesday.

Things will heat up and probably get done this week, one way or the other. Baseball is pretty much shut down until Monday 1/3.

 

Interesting that KW thought he'd have his team set for spring training by next weekend. Makes sense since SoxFest is right around the corner, and they might want to introduce all the new additions that weekend.

 

My best guess is an infielder for sure ... the Pierzynski thing, who knows. If the Dodgers wanted him, their interest may be lessened if they get Dionar Navarro from AZ after the RJ trade happens. The Pierzynski situation was in the Tribune's front page sports and the Tribune rarely puts anything White Sox on the front page unless there's a really good chance of it happening.

 

I'm still not counting on both things happening, but do believe they will sign at least one guy for sure.

 

If it's both Pierzynski and Iguchi, we have a pretty successful offseason. Bring in a few non roster invitees for depth and you're done until July.

God if we got them two, man I'd be stoked with this offseason.

IMO, If the Aj deal doesnt get done by SoxFest, it wont happen, but thats just a hunch.

 

Sounds like Kenny wants to have this team done in a week.

i just hope if KW has to choose between the two he picks AJ because our C is a much bigger hole than 2B.... and in a way i wouldnt mind Willie get his first real chance to hold the spot.

Kenny offered that Japanese guy 2mil, he was looking for 7.... i think its safe to say he's not coming to the SouthSide...

I also think it is safe to say iguchi is on crack to think he is gonna get seven million per. Especially after everyone saw what matsui did last year ( kazou.)
