January 8, 200521 yr the Bulls are kicking ass and taking names.... won by 6 tonight Loul had an amazing game... 22pts to go along with 7rebs 4 assts 2blks Kirk had an off shooting night 12pts.... but had 9assts 6steals and 1blk Eddy...21pts...5rebs Tyson 4pts...9rebs 4blks(Carmen D said it was more like 7) One thing that botherd me tonight was when it was time for Utah to start fouling... Skiles takes out his best FT shooter in ben gordan and brings in A. Griffin... for defensive stops.... Griffin misses 3 of 4 ft's and allows Utah to stay in the game kinda... silly. But we won and im loving following the bulls.... way to go fellas/
January 8, 200521 yr Ya nice comeback for the Bulls. Here's to beating Boston and to improve to 13-18
January 8, 200521 yr Author QUOTE(SoxAce @ Jan 8, 2005 -> 01:25 AM) Ya nice comeback for the Bulls. Here's to beating Boston and to improve to 13-18 Don't look now but if we win tomorrow... the mighty Celtics and Paul Pierce are only a 1/2 game better than us.... and they've played 3 more games than we have....

January 8, 200521 yr Author QUOTE(SoxAce @ Jan 8, 2005 -> 01:31 AM) Not to get ahead of myself but..Playoff Picture Well be fair to urself..... its been 7 years since you could even get ahead of yourself.... well unless you were really crazy.
January 8, 200521 yr It's fun to look at the playoff picture, we haven't been there in so long. I'm loving our play, and we have some games coming up with the teams we need to leapfrog to the 8th spot. Tonights a big game, let's put a streak together.
January 8, 200521 yr i keep reading on the rumors pages, that the bull are still interested in trading either curry or chandler esp for a #1 pick. i think this will be a bad move, this team is coming together and i am really liking in what i see out of the youngsters.
January 8, 200521 yr I doubt that true, I'm sure Pax will listen to offers, but probably not very interested in dealing them. Just my hunch.
January 8, 200521 yr QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Jan 8, 2005 -> 06:24 PM) Eddy and Tyson are both FA's after the season right? I still think this team is 1 year away from really becoming a force, so I say trade away one of them to get something good. i think they are restricted fa, but i am not too sure how that works in basketball.
January 8, 200521 yr There are a lot of people running next to the Bulls bandwagon right now, getting ready to hop on. They're looking a lot better lately, and getting results too. It's nice to see, actually.
January 8, 200521 yr Eddy continued his gutsy play last night. He just wanted it. Hopefully Eddy has turned the corner and we see this every night from him.
January 8, 200521 yr QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jan 8, 2005 -> 12:41 PM) Eddy continued his gutsy play last night. He just wanted it. Hopefully Eddy has turned the corner and we see this every night from him. I hope so too. When the fire ignites in him to make him want to prove it every game, he's gonna be a real force. He's his own worst enemy. I'd love to see Tyson's "want-it" in Eddy's body.
January 8, 200521 yr I could see Chandler still potentially on the block but Curry ain't going anywhere.
January 8, 200521 yr QUOTE(The Critic @ Jan 8, 2005 -> 02:09 PM) I hope so too. When the fire ignites in him to make him want to prove it every game, he's gonna be a real force. He's his own worst enemy. I'd love to see Tyson's "want-it" in Eddy's body. If Eddy had Tysons heart, the Bulls would have given him a max extension two years ago.
January 8, 200521 yr Author Tyson Chandler may not be a capable scorer in this league, but he has become a defensive FORCE coming off the bench. His REBS and BLOCKS have been a HUGE factor to our winning ways... Keep in mind, he does all this in limited minutes.
January 8, 200521 yr QUOTE(LDF @ Jan 8, 2005 -> 12:27 PM) i think they are restricted fa, but i am not too sure how that works in basketball. If other teams offer a certain amount and the bulls match it that player has to come back to the bulls.

Hopefully his health holds up.

January 9, 200521 yr Harrington is a beast! Hinrich just hit a three. Boston up 52-51. 2nd half is almost over.
