According to that poorly translated article, Iguchi accepted the same salary from the White Sox as he made last season in Japan -- $2,300,000 a year. Looks like Kenny's low-balling worked.

If that information is correct (my head is still spinning after reading that), then major props to KW for this offseason!

Yep, he wanted to sign with us because he knew he would get the most playing time here, possibly even win the starting job from Willie.

He still has to undertake a physical though. Hopefully nothing will come up with that shoulder, that he had surgery on back in 2002.
