February 22, 200521 yr The Bears waived quarterback Jonathan Quinn Tuesday after only one season with the club. A seven-year NFL veteran, Quinn signed with the Bears last March and played in five games during the 2004 season. Quinn started the three games following Rex Grossman's season-ending knee injury. Starting for the first time since Nov. 18, 2001 when he played with Jacksonville, Quinn posted career highs with 26 completions on 43 attempts en route to a season-high 215 passing yards vs. Philadelphia on Oct. 3, 2004. Quinn totaled 51 completions on 98 pass attempts for 413 yards with one touchdown and three interceptions for the season.
