March 12, 200521 yr QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Mar 12, 2005 -> 01:39 PM) I was about to tell you why Seth Green was the worst college bball analyst you've ever heard.
March 12, 200521 yr I don't if anyone has came to this conclusion. I'm too lazy to read all 9 pages worth. But has anyone noticed that the 4 Big Ten teams left are well the western Big Ten teams. Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois, and Wisconsin. I just thought that was pretty cool.
March 12, 200521 yr Very ugly game, nevertheless Illini knock off a tourney team by 8, less then 24 hours after the coaches mom died.
March 12, 200521 yr Ugly ass game, 89 turnovers...not a good effort to be putting in one game before the NCAA tournament. Not happy.
March 12, 200521 yr Just want to point out that this game is a coaching rematch of the 1995 NCAA Division 3 national championships between my Manchester College Spartans (Steve Alford) and Wisconson Whitewater (Bo Ryan) /worthless trivia
March 12, 200521 yr Wisconsin up 1 at the end of the half. Been a good game though and Hawkeyes are right in it. They need to cut down on the turnovers though. Plus they need quicker rotations because Wisconsin has had some open looks from outside.
March 12, 200521 yr Complete bulls*** intentional foul call right there. He was going for the ball, no doubt. :banghead
March 12, 200521 yr QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Mar 12, 2005 -> 04:30 PM) Complete bulls*** intentional foul call right there. He was going for the ball, no doubt. :banghead Yeah that was pretty bad. No doubt he was going for the ball, Tucker just fell so awkwardly they gave it to him.
March 12, 200521 yr Nice rebounding position on that one. Wisconson has 3.7 seconds to go the length of the floor.
March 12, 200521 yr OMG, what a loss. Still Iowa played good. If they don't make the tourney its total horsehist...case closed. They played good after adjusting to life without Pierce and proved they can still play good. More big wins then any other team in the country minus Kansas and Illinois (RPI 50 or better). And ya that intentional foul was a bad one, but Iowa got a few calls that went there way as well. I just hope Big 10 gets 5 teams in: Ill, MSU, Wisc, Minn, and Iowa.
March 12, 200521 yr QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Mar 12, 2005 -> 04:59 PM) What a rough loss for Iowa. Did he call bank? Doesn't matter. The bank is open Saturday on the westside. Wow. So now back to Iowa. Are they dancin?
March 12, 200521 yr On a sidenote, I think Aflord has really stepped up his level of coaching. They came out and protected the ball in the 2nd half and really played good defense the entire tourney.
March 12, 200521 yr QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Mar 12, 2005 -> 03:02 PM) Doesn't matter. The bank is open Saturday on the westside. Wow. So now back to Iowa. Are they dancin? If they aren't, its a total sham.
March 12, 200521 yr QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Mar 12, 2005 -> 05:02 PM) On a sidenote, I think Aflord has really stepped up his level of coaching. They came out and protected the ball in the 2nd half and really played good defense the entire tourney. Alfords teams ALWAYS play their best ball in March.
March 12, 200521 yr QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Mar 12, 2005 -> 05:02 PM) So now back to Iowa. Are they dancin? I believe so, after beating msu and playing one hell of a game today, I think they're in.
