I do quite often..... actually when talking baseball he is just fine. He gives positive input. But during this tournament he has been annoying as hell, seeming very immature. So I am a douchebag for pointing it out. Sorry if I sometimes have a low tolerance for stupidity, but that's the way it is.

Should be an interesting set of matchups, I don't see NC State winning, but the fact they beat UConn blew my mind, so who knows. I have no hard feelings either IK, I love to argue and don't take whats said on here to heart.

I went to the open practices today at allstate, i saw about 20 mins of zona, all of illinois, and a half hour of OSU. It was kinda cool just to see the teams shoot around and get a glimpse of the stadium. Can't wait for tomorrow

Alright you should be pretty easy to spot.

 

I know practice doesn't mean much, but did our guards seem to be shooting in the All State compared to the domes? Hell, you probably can't tell much from one practice.

Guards actually shot pretty well, for what it's worth.

 

Deron was on fire, he didn't miss s*** in the shootaround

 

Luther ran very hot at times, he made like 7 in a row at one point

 

Dee was better, but not as hot as the other two.

 

Hopefully they all got adjusted to the sightlines and s***.

 

Oh, one other thing...Salim's shot is so f***ed up watching it in person, and he missed a ton of shots today

I always wondered how Salim shot so well, kids at home look away when he strokes it.

 

Good to hear about our shooting, it should be better with the closer background and what not.

 

For some reason domes=bad shooting

The backdrops in domes are real weird because they are football stadiums. It's a ton different because there is a ton of open area between the rim and the seats, not like most stadiums teams play at all year. I'm sure there's a more detailed explanation, but that's the main thing that is different about domes. It's not the actual dome part that affects it.

Its all about depth perception. Because the backrounds are so much farther away in domes, the feeling of distance becomes different.

One more thing about yesterday, Luther was limping around just a bit and was held out of up-tempo drills like fast breaks. Some media outlets are making a big deal out of it, but i didn't even mention it originally because i didn't think it was a huge deal. I think he's fine. If he was seriously injured, he would have not even been on the floor. Who isn't a little banged up at this point in time?

 

Luther was still making threes like it was his job towards the end of practice. Hopefully this isn't anything big, and he'll be at full strength tomorrow.
