March 22, 200521 yr Watching CSN right now, Kenny's walking around interviewing Herm Schneider and Buerhle. He was talking to Buerhle and mentioned that he read on the internet that the Sox need to slow down on the 'intense shagging of flyballs', Mark started cracking up. I remember reading that somewhere in that massive Buerhle thread. That's hilarious. Edited March 22, 200521 yr by El Piervizdyeguchansodnik
March 22, 200521 yr I wouldn't get a swelled head even if he did read here. I don't think many of us give KW any ideas on how to run a club, maybe how not to run a club, but not on how to do it.
March 22, 200521 yr even if he reads once in a while its cool. That means he cares what the fans think and a least has a little intrest in whats going on with the fans.
March 22, 200521 yr QUOTE(Steff @ Mar 22, 2005 -> 08:08 AM) Cough.. WSI.. cough. Yeah, if anyone is the kings of overreacting to a common activity... Pitchers shag balls in the OF all of the time. Pay attention at a BP and you will see that. They do it while they stretch or work on long toss.
March 22, 200521 yr QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Mar 22, 2005 -> 08:37 AM) Yeah, if anyone is the kings of overreacting to a common activity... I was referring to which site Kenny reads.. not anything negative about the site.

March 22, 200521 yr Official Quote: KW: "I read on the internet that the White Sox should re-evaluate their practice of 'intense shagging.' Is this something that you think that needs to be reviewed?" MB: [laughing] Does that mean we get outta shagging? If we can, if we can get out of it then yeah, we can.....we can re-look it over. But.......no, it alright." Edited March 22, 200521 yr by SoxFan1
