March 31, 200521 yr Just want to give everyone a heads up. Soxtalk.com is now running on a newer and a million times better server. The specs are insane on this new machine and its got dual processing which will definately help handle the server load better. Who knows how good it will work until we see it running under heavy instances, but here's to hoping we don't blow the server this opening day On a sidenote, were also going to have a new chatroom ready by opening day. It will be up tomorrow but I'm not sure we'll roll it out by then, probably over the weekend (I'll be out of town). Anyway, just want to give Kap a special thanks for taking care of this stuff. The guy's the man, even if he is all the way down in Texas...hell, TexSox, Palehose and Tru are all the Texas I can handle on the site On a sidenote, I'll be internetless until Sunday night so if anything happens just shoot an email to any of the admins and mods. Hell, they do all the work around here anyway

March 31, 200521 yr Author Also with this new server, some of the features that had not worked or would time out now work. IF anyone notices anything timing out, please tell us because it wouldn't be the result of the server, rather a bug in the coding.
March 31, 200521 yr Awesome ! I always wondered why there wasn't a chat room for this site. With all the arguments that come up a chat room will be insane. Hmmm I wonder if all the people whose number of posts is a great source of ego( seeing their 2 cents worth all over the place) will bother to use a chat room if it cuts into the number of their posts?
March 31, 200521 yr This new server is killer. The site didn't even blink yesterday when we got well over 100 people on here. It will be interesting to see what it is like opening day with way more than that on here.

April 1, 200521 yr the sounds : chicken, cukkoo and waterdrop only work with internet explorer, those are the only problems i can find
