Final Cactus Notes:

Cactus League play officially comes to a close Thursday afternoon, when Freddy Garcia gets the call for the early start against Colorado. The right-hander is beginning his first full season with the White Sox and will pitch in Wednesday's second game of the season.

Garcia has allowed 19 hits over 15 innings this spring, striking out five and walking five.

Right-hander Shawn Chacon, who overcame a hamstring problem earlier in camp and was not hurt badly when hit by a pitch during a bunting drill on Monday, will start for Colorado.

Next, we'll just be 90 miles from Comiskey!! Opening Day can't come soon enough. :bringit

i'm so glad spring training is done. Its always cool for a while, but now its like ok lets get some regular games. I cant wait for the sox to prove everyone wrong and win the division.
