He might not be much of a scorer for you in the long run because he has an inconsistent shot, but then again, people were saying the same thing about Tayshaun, and he's shot over 50% from the field in 37 games this year, so I dunno. Iggy has the make-up of a guy who can force the issue down low at times & creates high percentage shots like Artest or someone like that. He could also score on the run, off of steals. He's a good ball-handler. He's got a lot of offensive upside once you get past his shooting woes. Why do you think people were comparing him to Pippen? And as far as Paxson goes, the positives outweigh the negatives. I'll just leave it at that.

Wade got picked because of his performance in the Tournament, and the same will happen for deron. Now I'm not saying he'll be as good, or anywhere near, and I'm not saying I even like his game, but augustine and head are even worse.
April 5, 200521 yr The loss of Deng will hurt a lot more than people realize. Wthout him, the Bulls will have a lot of matchup problems when they get to the playoffs.

Igu gets more pub for his defensive prowess but Deng is as good of a defender, imo. Many may disagree with me on that, but his length and lateral quickness impressed me, plus he's flat smart. Offensively he's further along then Igu as well. I'd say they are similar players but to me the upside lies with Luol. Both will be tremendous defenders, Luol is so smooth as a slasher though. Will Deng have a shot at playing in the postseason? Either way it was a good year for Luol and I look forward to watching him progress.

Chicago has good players, but they need a superstar if they are ever going to contend for a title.. they just have a bunch of good players.. they are going to just be a playoff team until they get a superstar and then they would have a better chance at winning another title..

You're right for now, but it still hurts to have an early exit in the playoffs as opposed to a deep run.
