April 7, 200521 yr Dempster started, all 7 runs are charged to him. He was absolutely rocked. So much for that great pitching staff. Looks like theyre stuck with Dempster even when Woody and Prior get back.

Looks like theyre stuck with Dempster even when Woody and Prior get back. I just tuned in so i though Rusch had been a while. HAH! I love this!
April 7, 200521 yr No matter his stuff, I'm not sure why they believed Dempster was a lock to be good. I remember his runs in Florida and Cincinati weren't exactly results-strong
April 7, 200521 yr QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 10:45 PM) I just tuned in so i though Rusch had been a while. HAH! I love this! Haha its all good. Rusch will probably get pounded now. Nice play by Tracy.
April 7, 200521 yr The worst part is that it's the D-Backs doing it, but with Dumpster anything is possible.
April 7, 200521 yr Author QUOTE(3E8 @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 09:51 PM) I put $$$ on the Cubs losing by more than 1 run with a +160 moneyline. :fthecubs Someone's gonna make some money tonight.
April 7, 200521 yr Author D-Backs are threatening again. 2nd and 3rd with only 1 out. Never mind............the flubbs managed to squirm out of it. Royce "the choice" grounded out weakly and Gonzalez bounced out. Edited April 7, 200521 yr by NUKE_CLEVELAND
April 7, 200521 yr A few ScrUb fan co-workers were gloating about their 10-run victory a couple days ago, and I reminded them of the team they root for...Hopefully it sinks in before too long, because Cub fans are totally annoying, especially when they try to convince you that what they have is anything remotely good! I can't wait til we paste them in both series this year!
April 7, 200521 yr QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 10:56 PM) It's 8-3 now. D-Backs just launched one. Yup, that was Glaus, launched an opposite field shot against latroy.
April 7, 200521 yr Author Roycie boy is sporting some rediculous looking dreadlocks. LOL! I guess he's going buck wild now that Uncle Jerry isin't around to keep him in line. Its a final now. Flubbs crushed.......lose the series.......life is good!!! :fthecubs Edited April 7, 200521 yr by NUKE_CLEVELAND
April 7, 200521 yr Author QUOTE(DonkeyKongerko @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 11:08 PM) NOMAH!!! 0-FIVAH!! He is SOOOOOOOOO overrated. I bet he has a really bad season this year.
April 7, 200521 yr I wouldn't mind having Nomar but not for the money he makes. He's way too inconsistent for Ozzie ball.
April 7, 200521 yr Flubs lose 8-3 and go to 1-2 on the season. Now they face the Brew-Crew and Flubs-killer Carlos Lee at the Urinal on Friday. Edited April 7, 200521 yr by Jabroni
April 7, 200521 yr Author QUOTE(Jabroni @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 11:23 PM) Cubs lose 8-3 and go to 1-2 on the season. Now they face the Brew-Crew and Flubs-killer Carlos Lee at the Urinal on Friday. That oughta be interesting.
April 7, 200521 yr This is kinda how they started the season last year. Wood and Prior on the dl. A strong opening day win on the road, only to lose the next 2 games. The sad thing is, "atleast for Cub fans", they're not as good as last years team.
April 7, 200521 yr Author QUOTE(Jordan4life_2004 @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 11:32 PM) This is kinda how they started the season last year. Wood and Prior on the dl. A strong opening day win on the road, only to lose the next 2 games. The sad thing is, "atleast for Cub fans", they're not as good as last years team. Not even close. Their staff is hurting really bad right now with the loss of Clement and the 2 golden boys on the shelf.
April 7, 200521 yr QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Apr 7, 2005 -> 12:33 AM) Not even close. Their staff is hurting really bad right now with the loss of Clement and the 2 golden boys on the shelf. I'm so heartbroken.
April 7, 200521 yr QUOTE(Jabroni @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 11:23 PM) Flubs lose 8-3 and go to 1-2 on the season. Now they face the Brew-Crew and Flubs-killer Carlos Lee at the Urinal on Friday. The Brewers always play the Cubs really tough anyway, and now Milwaukee actually looks like they could be a decent team. We know C Lee is going to have a good series there!
April 7, 200521 yr QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Apr 7, 2005 -> 09:35 AM) I still don't understand why Dempster and Rusch changed roles... And to put things in the proper perspective ... not only do I not understand, but I don't care!
April 7, 200521 yr this is what i like to see the cubs losing and the sox winning, back to the old days were the flubs suck
