Agreed. Shingo's sample size may be small against the Indians but they've served up his only 2 blown saves. Why chance it? Maybe the Indians know how to wait for his pitches and just have his number.

The way it looks, Shingo might have to face the heart of the order in the 9th. I don't like it, use hermanson instead. i really want this game!

After Podsednik scored earlier in the game, I saw him talking to the trainer. Considering he stayed in the game a few more innings and got that hit, I would expect it's nothing serious.

Hawk mentioned that they will update us with Pods' status when he gets some info. It seemed like he was inferring that Pods may be hurt. But Hawk didn't even sound like he knew what was going on.
