July 7, 200520 yr Jose Lima pitching. Looks like the lead is going to only be 10, but hey mabey Its Lima Time tonight
July 7, 200520 yr This is a great thread. There's a Twins fansite out there that refers to our Sox as the "b**** Sox." That 10.5 game lead feels good when you see stuff like that.
July 7, 200520 yr QUOTE(soxman352000 @ Jul 7, 2005 -> 12:47 PM) Jose Lima pitching. Looks like the lead is going to only be 10, but hey mabey Its Lima Time tonight lol yeah Lima Time to leave after 3.2 innings.
July 7, 200520 yr QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jul 7, 2005 -> 08:46 AM) Him and Juan Rincon could be best friends. Now THAT's funny.
July 7, 200520 yr QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Jul 7, 2005 -> 11:08 AM) lol yeah Lima Time to leave after 3.2 innings. Lima averages like 1 dominant game a month...it's just when he pulls it out. He beat the Hell out of the Cardinals last year in the playoffs, he beat the Hell out of the Dodgers when he pitched against them last month. He can do it...he just does it VERY RARELY.
July 7, 200520 yr QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Jul 7, 2005 -> 10:45 AM) "People close to Bret Boone have been told by the Seattle Mariners second baseman that the Twins would be his first choice if he is traded or becomes a free agent, as expected. Boone, 36, always has been impressed by the way the Twins play and that they have been in the playoffs three consecutive years. Boone believes he would be a terrific fit and would be greatly motivated to play for the Twins." -benmaller.com haha. how many rumors get put up on SpinMaller that actually become true 2%..4% maybe

July 8, 200520 yr Thank you Angel Berroa! 5-3 Royals...still nobody out in the 7th, 1st and 2nd, Twinkies bringing in J.C. Romero to face Teahan. Edited July 8, 200520 yr by Balta1701
July 8, 200520 yr QUOTE(Benchwarmerjim @ Jul 7, 2005 -> 09:15 PM) Through 18 starts this season, Santana is 7-5 with a 3.98 ERA, 26 walks and 143 strikeouts. Through 18 starts last season, Santana was 7-5 with a 3.89 ERA, 29 walks and 125 strikeouts. courtesy of the StarTribune Last season he was coming off an injury, and was terrible to start the season. This year he's been consistently good, but not AMAZING 2004 2005 April 5.40 3.55 May 5.79 3.83 June 2.39 3.93 July 1.17 5.84* *it's early
July 8, 200520 yr I should add, that he was 13-0 with a 1.21 ERA after the ASB last year... I will guarantee he won't match that this year.
July 8, 200520 yr 7-3 Royals! Buck with a two-run single on the drawn in IF. Still nobody out, runners at the corners, bottom 7. No more updates from me. Keep it comin', KC!
July 8, 200520 yr Come on you Royals. Need at least a 10-spot here before your lead is safe against those damn Twins.
July 8, 200520 yr Terrence Long GIDP with the bases loaded...is now 0-5 for the day. 8-3 isn't a safe lead against the Twins. They'll be down only 10 games within a few innings, given KC's terribleness.
July 8, 200520 yr QUOTE(Antonio Osuna @ Jul 7, 2005 -> 09:35 PM) Greedy Graffanino just got one of them RBI walks. 8-3 KC. HAHA. Is there a story behind the name?
July 8, 200520 yr HAHA. Is there a story behind the name? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He was once a bench player for the Sox. He then left us as a FA to play for the Royals, who gave him about $500,000 more.
July 8, 200520 yr 8-5 Royals in the top of the 9th....Mauer doubled in 2 w/ 1 out. Edited July 8, 200520 yr by greasywheels121
