He really, really, really misplayed a routine fly to LF.

 

He broke in on it and it sailed over his head. Well, he decides to run directly into the wall and not only misses the ball, but injures his shoulder.

The worst part is this inning should of never happened.

Good job fat ass Uribe. The guy is only good for a sac fly. Everett needs to learn how to field. When Thomas gets back I'd rather have a s***ty hitting Dye playing right then a s***ty fielding Everett.

dye puts himself in horrid position to make a throw, i suppose it didnt matter, he didnt have a shot at throwin him out anyways

It definitely is Everett's shoulder that was injured. He grabbed it right away and Herm was rubbing in. Then Carl started trying to stretch it and was in too much pain to continue. One thing this play shows is that Carl's fielding glove should be thrown in the garbage. He is strictly a DH now.

So far that was the worst defense I have seen on this team... they have to do a lot better than that lame ass s***....

Actually there is no way they turn 2 on that grounder, they were in the Hafner shift, Crisp would have beaten Harris to the bag easily. Still a horrible play though.
