The Astros offense is absolutely pathetic right now. Half their starting lineup shouldnt be in the majors.

I just figure that if you didn't want him to face the batter he shouldn't start the hitter. It's not like the risp changes the dynamic all that much

We complained about tinkering with Manuel. It's pretty obvious there's a general lack of hitting on this team now, and no amount of tinkering can change that.

We took 8 goddamn walks tonight....EIGHT....and we got 1 f***ing run so far, only because it was walked in...

A major lineup move I want to see is Rowand batting 3rd against lefties. He destroyed lefties last year, and Everett is a very poor hitter vs lhp. So far, I know the results haven't been great with Rowand, but I guarantee he'll be hitting above .300 vs lefties by the end of the season.

Brian Anderson had two more hits, including his fourth bomb, for charlotte tonight.

 

He's hitting .338 -- almost as well as Dye.

 

 

BMac struck out 11 to get the win. But he didn't really pitch well. Gave up 4 earned in 6 2/3
