Home-plate umpire Tony Randazzo issued a warning to both teams. "If someone's trying to hit me, I'm going to react that way every time," White said. "He's lucky he didn't hit me." White told third-base coach Juan Samuel after Konerko's plunking that someone was going to get hit, but forgot about it by the time he stepped to the plate. The spark didn't last long, anyway, since he flew out to center to end the inning. "It got me out of my game," he said. "I wanted to hit the ball 700 feet. It's over with. The next time we play, it just adds fuel to the fire." Yea, you are lucky he didn't hit you. You would've been flat on your ass.
