Did they say anything about if you will be able to play PS1 and PS2 games on the PS3

The PS3 will come in three colors: black, silver and white. The new console will be able to run the thousands of games available for the older PS2 and PS1, officials said.

I think the new E3 looks pretty darn cool...I'm gonna have to get one solely for the aesthetic pleasure it provides

Wait.....what the hell is "The Rev"??????????

Nintendo Next Gen.

Comes with every GameCube game, Super Nintendo game, N64 game and Nintendo game ever made on the system at launch. Amazing.

Nintendos next hand-held. Looks really stupid IMO.

That things pretty pimp. Might be a mistake by Nintendo though because they don't mean it to be their real next gen handheld, rather just to coencide with the other 2 handhelds. It's too bad the consumers won't see it this way.

I dont know, a screen less then one inch wide doesnt do much for me?

It looks like one of those 10$ digimon pocketmonster things.

Nintendo should have saved their money from all the handhelds the released and put it all into making a super handheld that would blow away all others.

Sony waited awhile to make PSP and that thing blows DS out of the water.

They are....coming in the form of the Nintendo Evolution. Backwards compatibility with the GC. Amazing indeed.

That blows the waste of money PSP way out of the water.

By this you mean they will all be on disc format or whatever the Revolution games are formatted like?

I assume.

I haven't read much on the Revolution.

So what you're saying is I can play the likes of Tecmo Bowl and the original Donkey Kong on a new piece of hardware?

To each their own I guess.

PSP is awesome though. I love watching movies, listening to music, and playing games on it. I like the fact the internet gaming is up already and theyre working on a browser for it. Definately not a waste of money IMO.

But o well, everyone likes different things, and thats what makes the video game world interesting. :cheers

Yes, it is Per download, though. Nintendo is putting a big focus on Online it seems.

I never liked the idea of consoles going online, especially Nintendo, but I say this is a pretty sweet deal.

From NintendoNow

We have designed Revolution to be capable to download 20 years of Nintendo content.  You will be able to purchase games created for NES, SNES, N64 and GameCube for Revolution.

You gotta pay for em, i hope its not a hefty price...

If they're smart, they'll continue the trend of offering the relatively cheaper option since they're basically in 3rd place right now. I'll be pumped if the price is affordable...They're smart to build on their history and gain an edge with nostalgia...

It looks like I'll have to save up for broadband next year...

Playing Mario-Kart 64 against on-line players is gonna be soo f***in' awesome. :gosox3:
