Do you really think that Cotts' ERA isn't going to jump to 5.00+ like it has in the past?  I'd rather see what someone else can do.  We already know what Cotts does -- he gives up leadoff walks and leadoff hits.

 

Cotts strikes out 8 guys per nine, though.

 

And yes, I realize he has a bad career ERA. He's only 24 or 25, though, one tends to get better in their young twenties.

 

Plus, he's the last guy in our bullpen. I don't think I've ever proclaimed him as the second coming of Eric Gagne, but he's not terrible.

Even though he's scuffling, I really like many of the at-bats Pauly is taking. He's showing great patience while trying to work through his slump.
