This lack of offense hasn't really been just a streak.....our offense has looked pretty bad all year.  We only have 3 players who are hitting over .270 this season, and we are awful at drawing walks.  Thankfully, we found a way to win 31 games out of our first 43.

 

I completely disagree with this. Yesterday was the first time we've been shut out all season. We have been scoring 4-5 runs in most every game this year until this recent streak. We lead the league or are second in steals, sacrifice bunts, and sacrifice flies.

 

We are 7th in the AL in runs and 4th in the AL in homeruns.

Yes, he very likely did. That's the problem with Rowand in the 3 hole.....against righties, he should be no higher than 6th in the lineup. Against lefties, he should be batting 3rd.

Umm, Ross needs to get up here ASAP. Like, in five-ten days. I'm sorry, but Konerko is brutal right now. He needs an extended break, say two or three days off.

Just once, I'd like to see us try a squeeze play in a late inning situation. I'm not saying that would have been the best option last inning, but we really should utilize that play more than we do.

Our hitters 1-4 tonite are a combined 0-14 with one BB.

So, since we're pessimistic tonight, how do we lose in the 9th?

I am seriously surprised that the squeeze is not tried more often. With Pods coming home, you have a huge margin of error on the squeeze - just get it down.
