the worst thing about all this is that the sox are getting shut down by these no name pitchers. it's one thing if you go down good pitching. it's another to embarrass yourselves

I prefer Willie "Soft grounder to the right side" Harris.

Willie=good fielder

Nice lineup tonight. Uribe and his under 200 BA hitting second. The only thing that would make this lineup better is if we had Timo in tonight.

Hey the kid didnt have it tonight. Needs to keep the ball down more. But if our pitching fails with our terrible offense this is what we should all expect to see.

Willie's one of the handful of players w/ a hit in this game, and he's the problem?

IT'S SHINGO TIME... a.k.a. mop up time

Does it matter that this guy is 4-2, and has had a 1.69 ERA in his last 3 starts?

I mean, that is bad pitching, right?

You mean the bunt hit that should have been an error on the pitcher?

That seems hard to do.

Soriano needs to hit the dirt here, won't happen.

No, his overall record is 4 and 2 and he has a 1.69 era in his last 3 starts. The sox offense is definitely funking right now but Young's a good pitcher.

No..no...no. I definitely wasn't complaining about Willie getting on base. I was just saying that he's as guilty as anyone for our s***ty offense tonight.

Well, seeing how that would defy the law of numbers (or averages, physics, whatnot), ya might want to re-read the post. :rolly

Not as the guys who haven't gotten on base?

Are those brown streaks on Walker's pants?

Ahh, we're always so friendly around here.

Dunno, didn't see it, I came late and just read "bunt hit". But w/ everyone hitting like s***, with a lineup full of .230 hitters, I think it's interesting that the scapegoat is a guy who's hitting close to .280 and at least got on base, in a way that most people here would cheer loudly if it were some other players.
