06/05/05 Game Thread vs. Cleveland

Ouch.

This could turn out to be two losses in one.

1) Bullpen will be gassed tomorrow

2) Overall tired team after a 4 hour game and plane trip

3) Depressing loss.

One of Freddy's biggest starts of the year IMHO. Gotta put this ugly loss behind us and give the bullpen a rest.

I missed the game. Whats up with hermanson? Did he not have his stuff today? I heard on the radio he threw the ball away at third and they scored or something.

Its ashame that we could not sweep the Indians PLUS those Twins won again... but

lets go out there and get those rockies.

On a side note... Ozzie should have had the usual lineup today and the bench people in there tomarrow, to give the starters the rest they would have needed after this homestand and travel. I guess we'll find out tomarrow. Also all of the pen was used except for Takatsu so we'll be short in the pen as well.

We all should've known this was coming for 2 reasons:

1) The Sox have won a lot of series this year by taking the first two games and dropping the last one.

2) The Sox are at least 0-3 when they have a chance to go to 20 games over .500.

Oh well, on to Colorado where HOPEFULLY the Sox will FINALLY get 20 games over.
