I said maddux in a different thread as a joke. If this is true, that would be one mighty big coincidence.

Padilla isnt the greatest beat reporter in the world, it wouldnt surprise me if he said something like that

I hope Mark grills his ass back.

Didn't Garland call him recently out on comments he made during ST?

Yep, the thread takes yet another turn.

STOP CHANGING THE SUBJECT I CANT HANDLE IT ANYMORE!

Was it finally Padilla that was identified as the reporter that Garland was talking about? I didnt hear that.

Padilla hates the Sox, read his crap. He is a bozo.

Maddux, next time he pitches watch how often he lifts his cap and wipes his brow.

honestly I cannot fault a pitcher for wiping his brow. It is so hot on the field in their uniforms, and they are constantly throwing, alot of sweat builds up on your head. If this is somehow cheating, then they all cheat.

My point wasn't that wiping your brow is cheating. My point is he does it an inordinate amount of times. I understand he sweats we all do but this thread is about maybe something that is going on and this is somethign I feel is odd. That is all. The conversation is about cub players throwing spitters and who it may be. This is why I think it is Maddux.

It was Padilla. After a ST game in which Garland had a rough outing with one 'big inning', Padilla wrote something like: "well it looks like Garland is already at mid season form". Garland threw it back in his face last week sometime.

You don't wipe it with your hand do you? I go with the sleeve or pull my shirt up. I might as well leave it on my head if I'm just going to transfer it to my head...unless I want 6 more inches of movement.

I dont know if this has been said but Carlos Zambrano licks his fingers alot it could be him!
