I would say with the surging indians ours looks like the best right now. top 2 al teams imo Indians not that bad for a 3rd place team.

EDIT: I can't correct the poll mistake.... Lets just not put the AL west in the equation since they suck.... Take it as the NL east having that slot

Funny how the N.L. Central, minus the Cardinals, appears to be the weakest.

I don't know, those reds and pirates could sneak up on the rest of the league!

I've never heard of the "AL WestNL East".

NL East followed closely by AL East...

NL East followed closely by AL East...

Agreed.

But the AL Central is going to be a pretty fun division, especially with the Indians coming on strong. I'm really hoping for two AL Central teams to make the playoffs this year...

How I'd rank the divisions:

1. NL East

2. AL East

3. AL Central

4. NL Central

5. AL West

6. NL West

The NL Central has (arguably) more quality starters than any other division, what with Clemens, Oswalt, Pettite, Prior, Zambrano, Carpenter, Morris, Mulder, Sheets, Perez, etc.

The AL Central is good, don't get me wrong, but we can't compete with the East.

putting the al central down is just plain ignorant of non-white sox baseball.

QUOTE(chi-guy2 @ Jun 19, 2005 -> 10:15 PM)
that was definitely biased, its the NL east, every team is neck and neck in the standings, and those teams havent even heated up yet

The NL east and AL central.

I chose Al Central because im biased :D

Right now, the best division from top to bottom is the NL East. The most topheavy division is the AL Central, having 3 teams well over .500, including the best team in baseball. Depending on how you define "best division", it's going to be either the NL East or AL Central.

I would say AL central. We have 3 teams that are charging and playing well, SOX, Twinks and Indians.

1. NL East

2. AL Central

3. AL East

4. AL West

5. NL West

6. NL Central

NL East IMO is the toughest.

Not to mention that the Detroit Tigers are playing .500 baseball.

If you flip-flopped the NL Central and NL West in that list, I'd agree wholeheartedly

Cuz there's actually a good team int he NL Central

Come on, the NL West has got the Dodgers!
