I worked for a vending company and held similar hours. I hated it, even though i got home at 12. Then i would go to sleep, and wake up and be groggy for about 4 more hours, go back to sleep, wake up at 1(or 1:30 if I was dragging) and go through the whole routine. It was killer on my body clock, I will never do it again.

I can beat you all at worst jobs. I once spent a summer while in college working on a maggot farm. Yes you read it right, MAGGOTS, we bread maggots by the container load.

Second one, I got a job interview tomorrow for a summer job as a newspaper circulation assistant here but manager said he'd be really happy to have me come in. It's less than 40 hrs. a week and I get an opportunity to sleep in most days (3:30-7 pm M-F and 6:30-11 am Sa-Sun) Its basically just driving papers out to people who run out and delivering the errant paper to a person who didn't get one because the paperboy is a functional moron.

cafeteria job.....sounds terrible, but you do nothing, are surrounded by fellow students and get paid pretty well.

Well yesterday was my 2nd day of work at my dad's factory, a guy lost his finger, at least your not him.

Texas allows "hardship" licenses at 15 and almost anything will qualify as a hardship. But you cannot drink and drive until you are 21

I only did it once. Honestly, I am a good driver and abide by all laws and rules.

I don't think I want to work in a food place; too much talking to the customer. There's a Menards by my house, I think I'll apply there. A few months ago, Best Buy was taking applications for people in stock... should've applied there.

customers do suck.

I hated my time at dominick's, but it got me some college money.

btw, menard's you'd have to talk to customers just as much probably.

 

advice: try and find a small place to work at. not a giant chain.
