July 10, 200520 yr It's almost like this wasn't just a reward for what he's done this season, it's for what he's done the past few years in a Sox uni. To the Burly-mon!
July 10, 200520 yr Guillen was on AM1000 talking to Bruce Levine and Rooney and said he was asked permission to have Buehrle to start the ASG...

July 10, 200520 yr Yeah Guillen said yes but he is concerned about having his guys pitching...doesn't want them getting hurt or overused...
July 10, 200520 yr Congrats to Buehrle. The NL All-Stars will seem like the Royals to him in comparison with the A's.
July 10, 200520 yr 10-3, 2.58 ERA, 136 IP, 85 K, 5.63 K/9, 1.11 WHIP, .253 BAA The numbers say it all. The career backs it up!

July 10, 200520 yr Its awesome to think how well Buehrle has done this season... considering in ST we got the scare of a lifetime when they were saying he broke his foot...thankfully that wasn't the case but my heart stopped at that moment....Congrats Mark!!!

Man, I just remember reading "Mark Beuhrle braks foot" on the ESPN bottomline and thinking "Well, there goes the season!" :EXHALES: PHEW!
July 10, 200520 yr he's finally being considered what he has been for a while, a top 3 lefty in the league.
July 10, 200520 yr I'm surprised he's gonna start on so little rest. That's why I was certain it would go to Garland. Either way, congratulations to MB.
July 10, 200520 yr Personally, I think he deserves it more than Garland, who is now just coming around. Buehrle's been one of the more consistent and maybe most underrated pitchers in baseball the past few seasons. Now he's getting his due. Congrats.

Either way, congratulations to MB. Well starting would give him more time to warm up so no problem with me. Also he should be only going 2 innings 3 max.
July 10, 200520 yr Only fitting that our true ace heads to the bump. Hope this is the first of many to come for you Mark.

July 10, 200520 yr Congrats to Buehrle. Hopefully Garland is the next pitcher used and then Pods scores the winning run after stealing 2nd, 3rd, and home.
July 10, 200520 yr QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jul 10, 2005 -> 01:30 PM) Is that quote in your sig real? Haha, that's from one of his songs, but no, he didn't direct it to the AL Central.
