Which Sox Prospects do you Think Are Untouchable

Featured Replies

QUOTE(aboz56 @ Jul 29, 2005 -> 09:58 PM)
No one is untouchable in the right deal.

Agreed. My order, however, of guys I'd least like to see traded:

1. Anderson

2. Valido

3. Young

4. Liotta

5. Haigwood (I'm sure I'm the only person who'd have him in their top 5)

Also, if it came down to Fields or Schnurstein, I'd keep the Schnur. Fields may be a little better of a prospect, but he'd account for a lot more in a trade, imo. So I'd rather trade him as a part of a big time trade than say Schnur and someone else, like Haigwood.

Also, a player has to be 1 year removed from being drafted to be traded. Therefore, Mr. Broadway can't be trade bait until next year's deadline.

The only 2 guys I think are absolutely untouchable are Jenks and Young. Other than that there a bunch of guys Id wouldnt want dealt in a deal for an avg. player but if it involved like a Burnett type player it would be fine.

Jenks = UN-f***ING-TOUCHABLE

Everyone else....bye bye although I would prefer to add Young and Gio to that list seen above.

Wow A.J. Burnett, that's high standards LOL. :rolly Kenny isn't giving these guys away. He's going to at least get a Burnett or better if he's dealing any top tier prospects.

Well I mean a top player available as in Burnett, Wagner, Guardado, Huff... that type of player.

Josh Fields

Bobby Jenks(not a prospect anymore however still a young player)

Maybe Chris Young

Not going to project any free agent signings? :lol:

If we even have half these players on the club there would be well over 40 million remaining on our budget.

Jeremy Reed and Michael Morse. Oops.

Very clever...what you did with your handle.

I like it.

If you want to add the number, he's wearing #23.

Just sitting here reading that reminds me a lot of the Braves in the early 90's...in say 92-93 they were already sitting on top of the division with guys like Justice, McGriff, Mr. October Mark Lemke, etc, but then when you looked down in the minors they had guys like Chipper Jones, Ryan Klesko, Javy Lopez all climbing the ladder.
