I agree, I'm sick as hell of all this trade s***, especially when a game is going on. However, I don't see a problem with someone coming into the gamethread and updating us on what they've just heard, etc. However, I do agree that last night the gamethread was taken over by the Manny stuff, etc.

We really need a good offensive SS right now. Uribe is hitting .237!!! Even Crede has raised his BA into the .250s. Juan has basically been an automatic out. Vizquel would be an amazing #2/9 hitter for us.

Actually, the thing that excited more about acquiring Omar is seeing what Gooch will do lower in the line-up in a more "run-producing" role.
