August 2, 200520 yr From the scouting report on Broadway, he's the type of pitcher who we should expect to succeed at the lower levels. It is nice to see him striking guys out, but I won't be excited until I see him start doing it at a higher level.

I had read a lot of stuff saying that Broadway was at the top of his value at the time, and that he was less of a sure thing that a Carillo or some. Let's just say he hasn't given me anything to be dissapointed with and just keeps plugging away.

He sign with, I think, Kansas City ... and that's the last I heard of him.

He was 9-10 with a 4.39 ERA in AA after going 5-0 with an 0.65 ERA in High A. Note Montgomery was a terrible team last year. He averaged just under a strikeout an inning and a walk every three. He isn't overpowering by any means, but he was just one of those guys you notice that has a chance yet is flying under the radar. Than again, he may bust. For the record he started against the Barons 4 times last year, being very good in two starts, solid in one and bad in the other.
