Let's see how the offense responds to being in a big hole

Hopefully better than it did last night.

Exactly what I had in mind.

It's the 1st inning, we don't need them all back right now.

Chip away.

Quickly 2 up, 2 down.

YOU CAN PUT IT ON THE BOARD YESSSSSSSS

Carl with a concourse shot

Would have been nice if someone was on base. 4-1 now

That ball was crushed. I have a feeling one of the teams tonight is going to end up w/double digit runs.

AJ with a base hit - 1st and 3rd

Let's go JD get a count and drive the ball

f***, big out right there made by Dye. We're such a slow team after our leadoff hitter.

Huge blown chance.

Rack 'em up.

Let's get at least 1 more back.

Aaron looks like he's trying to pull everything lately. :headshake

Great job Juany, 2 out double.

Let's go Scotty clutch base hit here.

No one hits more choppers to third than Mr. Rowand. Indians are coming back against the Yankees, with Jeff Leifer having a big hit.

Bulls*** call on the 0-1 to Scotty, El Duque threw a similar pitch for a ball.

Ugly swing by Scotty, inning over. Leaves Juany at 2nd, s***.

Pods has to stop with his half-assed swings at the plate. He's 2 for his last 20 now.

...and not walking.

He walked something like 23 times in the first two months, and just 15 times since the beginning of June.

5-4 Indians now

Indians have just scored 5 runs in the 5th to take a 5-4 lead against the Yankees. Nothing like a sweep against the Yankees to boost a team's momentum.

Season's over.

But seriously, our play at home baffles me and concerns me if he have homefield in the playoffs.

6-4 Tribe

Real sharp inning from El Dque.

Let's chip away

I would MUCH rather they be in the wildcard than Oakland or LAA.

It's all about facing righties for Duque. He still has good enough stuff to be tough on righties. Lefties get such a good look at his pitches, and he definitely doesn't have the type of control he needs against lefties.

Pk has to know they are going to throw him a 1st pitch breaking ball everytime

I know we've talked about this before, but I'm more concerned with just winning the division right now. The Indians schedule is so easy, while ours is rather difficult, that if the Indians get on a real hot streak, they could make a race out of the AL Central.

His stats are actually very similar vs. righties and lefties.

Lefties bat .287 compared to .275 for righties. He walks lefties a lot more.
