thats for sure, our pitchers will make mistakes trying to pitch perfect games knowing our offense wont come thru. Hopefully we can hit from here on.

Again, I'm not being negative about our chances the rest of this season. I just go by the philosophy that anything can happen in sports. What's stopping a team from winning the rest of their games, or losing the rest of their games? You can throw as many statistics as you want at myself or someone else....but the game is played on the field, not in the papers.

If we go .500 the rest of the way, we'll make it. That's not the situation that concerns some of us. It's playing .350 ball the rest of the way which is the only scenario that could see the Sox out of the playoffs.
