August 8, 200520 yr QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Aug 7, 2005 -> 10:31 PM) I actually enjoyed the movie. It had some really funny stuff in there. The music was also pretty dang good. Plus, Josie was pretty dang cute in that movie. I'll second that, I saw the second half of that movie the other morning and I couldn't flip the channel just because of her. As per the original question, I'm partial to the Eyeliners.
August 8, 200520 yr QUOTE(knightni @ Aug 7, 2005 -> 10:29 PM) ...The Runaways... I'll go along with The Runaways. If we can pick solo performers, then for me, there is NO equal to SUZI QUATRO!!!

August 8, 200520 yr You betcha! Suzi rules. Man, am I screwed up or what? Suzi and The Andrews Sisters. :headshake I also find Terri Nunn circa "No More Words" to be REALLY attractive. Cool song. The rest of their stuff was just O.K. though. No days, she scares the hell out of me though.

August 9, 200520 yr QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Aug 8, 2005 -> 10:05 AM) You mean Leather Tuscadaro, right? Pinky was better!

Noone has mentioned the Breeders? Or the Pixies for that matter (two chicks in that band). I might get shot for this but - - - Yoko Ono. And Tina Turner, solely for the song "Nutbush City Limits."

Black Francis, David Lovering and Joey? Santiago were the other members. Good call on the Breeders, but I think they were too short-lived

True, but it makes the question not as challenging.
August 9, 200520 yr I gotta go with the Bangles. They all played instruments, they all sang, and they all wrote. In college I would leave MTV on all night just so I could hear them. Well, not just hear them... SFF Jeez, I gotta grow up. Edited August 9, 200520 yr by SpringfieldFan

Good call on the Breeders, but I think they were too short-lived The breeders are still together. Put out an album a couple years ago... plus the side projects of Amps/KimDeal5000. Also did a track on a tribute album for Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Possibly the second best track on the record behind the Yo La Tengo/Yoko collaboration or Frank Black's cover of "Sugar Daddy"
August 10, 200520 yr i can't imagine any of the other pixies getting mistaken for a female...well, maybe black francis for being pregnant...but thats part of their charm...
